Dii
HSH Nordbank is founding member of Dii, a unique initiative which was launched as the 'Desertec Industries Initiative', in July 2009. Dii aims at creating the conditions for an accelerated implementation of the DESERTEC concept in EUMENA. Dii was founded under German law as a GmbH (limited liability company) in Munich on 30 October 2009.
The joint venture was founded by 13 founding signatories. The shareholder base and the company network was broadened as further companies from north and south of the Mediterranean area joined this industry initiative as shareholders or associated partners.
