A partner in the service of your foundation
We have set up a team of specialists for you who will accompany you and your foundation together with your personal client-care advisor.
Together with you we identify and structure all the basic questions and problems which are relevant for the implementation of your foundation concept. HSH Nordbank provides support in dealing with the complex provisions of foundation and tax legislation but without ourselves providing legal or fiscal consultancy services. In doing so we work closely together with selected external specialists in these areas, with whom we will be pleased to put you in touch upon request.
An intermediary between benefactors, foundations and parties interested in foundations.
Foundations exist in a diverse networking of relationships. As a partner at your foundation's side we establish contacts with associations of foundations and associations of other interested parties, governmental supervisory authorities and tax authorities. We also act as intermediaries for discussions with other foundations which will gladly share their experiences with you and thus make our network useful for you.
In our role as intermediary we are actively involved in the foundation landscape – with specialised talks and lectures, stands at trade fairs and special client events. Because we are traditionally firmly anchored as a bank in the Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein regions our attention is particularly directed to regional involvement in northern Germany. Thus, for example, HSH Nordbank sponsored the Schleswig-Holstein Foundation Day and promoted the Schleswig-Holstein Foundation Prize. In Kiel and Hamburg in 2004 we also began to bring various foundations from the region together for discussions.
