Short CV Paul Lerbinger
Dr. Paul Lerbinger, born on 16 December 1955, studied business administration in Germany and in the United States. After gaining his doctorate in banking business administration in 1984 he began his career at BMW AG in Group capital market finance.
In 1987, Dr. Paul Lerbinger moved to the major US bank J.P. Morgan as a departmental director. Subsequently he joined the S.G. Warburg bank in London as departmental director.
There he was, in 1993, appointed a member of the management and, in 1995, additionally as a member of the management of S.G. Warburg in Frankfurt. In 1995 Dr. Paul Lerbinger moved to Deutsche Bank in London and Frankfurt as Managing Director, and was, among other areas, in charge of the Investment Banking Division, Germany as well as of Equity Capital Markets for the German-speaking countries.
Between 2002 and 2010 Dr. Paul Lerbinger was Managing Director and member of the Management Board of Citigroup Global Markets Deutschland AG & Co. KGaA in Frankfurt. From July 2008 until leaving Citigroup he was also deputy chairman of the Management Board.
Dr. Paul Lerbinger has been a member of the Management Board of HSH Nordbank AG since March 1, 2011 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective ?April 1, 2011.
