Torsten Temp - Board Member
Torsten Temp, born 20 May 1960, trained as a freight forwarding agent as well as studying German philology and philosophy.
Following various positions in the foreign trade and lending business for Bayerische Vereinsbank, in 1993 he moved to Vereins- und Westbank AG, where he was an assistant to the Management Board. He subsequently held various positions in Vereins- und Westbank’s corporate client business.
As General Bank Director of HypoVereinsbank AG, from 2005 Torsten Temp was responsible in particular for integrating its corporate client business in the Unicredit Group. As of 2007 he headed the Global Shipping unit of UniCredit Bank AG.
Torsten Temp was appointed to the HSH Nordbank Management Board with responsibility for the market on 1 May 2010. Since 1 August 2011 he has been responsible for all the market areas involving corporate and private clients. In addition to this, Torsten Temp is in charge of the foreign branches and representative offices in the North America, Asia and Athens, as well as HSH Nordbank Private Banking S.A.
